Vince J. Martinez

My role at Vantage Bank is to provide Treasury Management solutions and strategies to middle, upper middle and large corporate market clients in multiple industry sectors across our footprint, and beyond. I bring experience in competing with larger financial institutions to craft working capital solutions and bring thought leadership to the Vantage Bank marketplace. My primary objective is to help companies recognize and uncover potential efficiencies, mitigate risk, and build long-term mutually beneficial relationships, all while being aware of what the market bears regarding short term liquidity, on balance sheet offerings, commercial card, and foreign exchange opportunities.

I have spent my 33-year banking career working in Treasury Management for several large financial institutions, only moving in the pursuit of professional goals. Working at Vantage Bank is the culmination of my plan to bring my experience to a progressive community bank and its customers. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1990 with a BBA and have been a Certified Treasury Professional since 1992.

I am active in my community through various boards and leadership roles and am especially proud of the Lala Martinez Memorial Fund, created in my mom’s honor, a lifetime educator, to provide scholarships to first gen and ESL students. She always believed that higher education was a "ticket out of poverty".

I am passionate about spending time with my family along with traveling, golfing, and enjoying the great outdoors.
