JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Web Developer position will work in small teams involved in developing new applications with web and mobile front ends along with providing maintenance and enhancements to current applications. This position will interact both with internal team members as well as business users to define requirements, design and test custom solutions, and troubleshoot bugs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

1. Work with a small team to define, design, develop, test, and deploy custom web and mobile-based applications and business process automation solutions.
2. Develops applications by designing database architecture, workflows, and integrating with third-party APIs; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems and information servers both on premises and in the cloud.
3. Completes applications development by coordinating with project managers, support personnel, and other developers throughout the development lifecycle to define requirements, activities, and schedules; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
4. Creates technical methodologies for engineering solutions to development problems.
5. Tier 2 support of operations teams for high-level issues, enhancement requests, and bug fixes
6. Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
7. Support and mentor junior developers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
8. This position may require overnight travel for work related purposes. Travel is expected to be less than 10%.


QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or other fields related to the scope of this posting.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate work in web-based application development
• C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core
• JavaScript (jQuery, Angular)
• VCS, Git
• HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
• MS SQL Server (manage application databases)
• REST, XML, JSON
• Visual Studio (IDE)
• Additional Skillsets Desired:
o Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning
o Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
o Ability to work in both a solo and team environment
o Excellent communications skills (Verbal and Written)
o Microsoft Azure Development/Management Experience
o Business Process Automation (K2)
o Experience working with SQL databases and/or MS Access, as well as other MS Office Suite products.
o IIS Management Experience
o Experience working with Azure DevOps (Visual Studio Team Services)
