JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project teams utilizing Agile methodology. The Senior Project Manager’s goal is to achieve optimized performance and quality to deliver projects that provide exceptional business value to stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager leads the Enterprise Project Management Office and is responsible for managing several concurrent, high-visibility projects across the organization including development of software applications and technology platform implementations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

1. Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and communicate progress reports, manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
2. Hold teams accountable for their commitments while removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organization resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members.
3. Support the Product/Platform Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.
4. Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
5. Manage the Kanbanize project management software platform; fully leverage feature functionality of the web-based tool; evangelize the platform to stakeholders; develop employee expertise on the platform.
6. Prepare regular reports for capacity planning and platform performance and utilization (eg: SLA reports, transaction volumes; etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years professional experience managing complex technology and /or software development projects
• 2+ years professional experience working with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Office 365, Teams and Azure a plus.
• Experience with Power BI and Sisense business analytics a plus
