JOB SUMMARY

Process incoming and outgoing wires via Fed and Swift in US currency. Processing of international wire transfers to other countries in US Currency. Balance GL account daily. Assist bank personal with browser system and/or questions with regards to wires. Filing and storage of daily paper work. Open and close Wire System. End of day balancing and file processing. Maintain monthly wire fee report. Create new accounts and new users on the Wire System. Cross train in all wire department duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

1.Review and credit incoming wire transactions.
2.Input and process outgoing wire transfers in US currency.
3.Input and process SWIFT outgoing wire transfers to Banorte in US currency.
4.Receive and process MT103 incoming SWIFT messages from Banorte.
5.Review and balance Fed/Wire clearing GL account on a daily basis
6.Print and mail out wire notifications to customers on a daily basis.
7.Assist all browser users with wire questions and guidance on how to input an outgoing wire transfer.
8.Research wire transfer investigations for incoming and outgoing wires
9. Research requested wire subpoenas.
10.Contact officers and branch managers for proper wire approvals
11.Settle Fed Funds at noon and final settlement at 3:30 P.M.
12. Open Wire System on a daily basis.
13. End of Day Closing Procedures; pull all reports, balance, submit accounting file to data center.
14. Upload OFAC files to the O Drive
15. Review and release all OFAC incoming and OFAC outgoing wire transactions for possible hits on Compliance Link.
16. Send possible OFAC hits to BSA Department (via email) for final review and authorization.
17. Learn and perform all duties in the Wire Department, which will be rotated on a weekly basis
18. Help with other duties or special projects as assigned.
19. Assits in scanning of daily wire work to correspondent folders.
20. Assist in organizing all wire documents, boxing them and proper labeling to be stored in bank’s storage facility.
21. Participate in weekly meetings
22. Process AML file and MT950 swift statements to Banorte on a daily basis.
23. Audit and Retention of daily wire packages.

• Data entry proficient.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Bilingual skills a plus (English/Spanish).

• Willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
• High School Diploma
