JOB SUMMARY

Perform essential risk management processes and assignments pertaining to the concentrations of credit program, the allowance for loan and lease losses (ALLL) calculation and the management of the Bank’s loan policy. Assist in completing internal and external audit requests, credit quality analyses, Senior Management reports and other specific assignments as they arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

  1. Perform tasks and assignments related to the monthly completion of the analysis of the Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses such as FAS 114/ASC 310-10 monitoring and tracking, Troubled Debt Restructurings (TDRs) review and monitoring, qualitative risk factors, and loss history reporting and analyses.
  2. Assist on concentrations of credits with the direction from Credit Risk Officer
  3. Perform tasks and assignments pertaining to quarterly market report analyses.
  4. Assist in the preparation and submission of loan related information for Call Reports.
  5. Perform tasks and assignments related to loan portfolio stress testing.
  6. Assist in High Volatility Commercial Real Estate (HVCRE) loan compliance tracking and monitoring.
  7. Assist in High Loan to Value (HLTV) loan compliance tracking and monitoring.
  8. Assist in credit risk analyses for the Bank’s annual capital plan.
  9. Assist in special projects, gathering data/analyses and preparing reports for senior management, audit, regulators and other personnel.
  10. Assist in the preparation of reports to the Board of Directors, Directors’ Loan Committee and Senior Management detailing the Bank’s credit risk related compliance issues.
  11. Assist with Credit Risk Officer and Loan Review Director on implementation of CECL


QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university with a major in business; accounting or finance a plus.
  • Must have strong analytical skills, with the ability to present risk management conclusions and recommendations based on detailed loan portfolio data, business periodicals, professional journals, and other general market data.
  • Experience in accounting, auditing or credit risk analysis is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs is a must, as well as other software and bank programs Prefer some experience but must have the desire to gain knowledge of related state and federal lending and compliance laws and regulations, and other Bank lending policies.
